Chief Inspector Ian Jones (left) and Superintendent Alan Bobs - founding members and life, soul and spirit of the Band. Ian and Alan were taken from us far too early; but our memories, hearts and music will always be full of them.... Somewhere, rehearsing with the great Brass Band beyond, there is a willing and able utility cornet player, and a strong leading trombone - two of the most genuine and wonderful gentlemen you would ever wish to call "friends". Oh, and they also sing, and enjoy a beer. As Ian always use to say "you should never confuse ability with ambition"!
